The ATF approved it although under dubious (call that ridiculous) design constraints. "intended to assist persons whose hands have limited mobility to 'bump-fire' an AR-15 type rifle". The sellers were trying to make this a device for the handicapped? We all know what bump firing is but what does that mean to the government? I'm not so sure that's well defined from a legal standpoint. So now, what if the owner is not handicapped and purchases one with the intent to simulate automatic fire with the aide of a device intended for those with limited mobility? Nope I don't like that letter one bit.
