Hey guys. First post on SH, been looking at putting a new optic on my custom which should be done Saturday. Primarily used for PRS. I’m hung up on the razor 4.5-27 or the new khales 525. I know the khales is a better optic. My question comes down to cost. Is it worth the extra $1000 plus dollars? I’m not opposed to spending the money. Just don’t want to spend the money for minimum gains. Thanks guys.

Give us a call, it won't be a $1,000 difference in price :)

How do you know this?

Yup it is subjective. I don't know of a scope I would pay another $1000 over a Razor II. Pick a reticle you like and go with that scope.

Aside from the subjective stuff like glass clarity, I like the fact that the Kahles are damn near a pound lighter. I like the SKMR 3 but the EBR 2C is also a pretty damn good reticle.

After military discount, I get the razor at just under 2100$$
If your newer here and I am too do your self a favor and always call a few hide vendors and mention the hide before you make any large purchases I payed and extra 25% on my first high quality scope because I assumed I found the best price on the internet and there was no way a local shop was going to come close to that price plus the customer service and advice is very valuable
