is there some type of revitalization to the area goin on? Ive seen this in several areas that were once falling apart and crime ridden.

When I first got on the job in the early 2000’s we’d eat lunch in Compton during graveyard hours. You could see evidence that the place used to be a war zone, bullet holes everywhere etc. By then though it had swung largely Hispanic. Not sure what caused that. SoCal real estate is just bonkers, so glad I bailed from that place.

You'd be utterly shocked by how many big-ass lots are in Compton. I mean horse properties and mini farms. It's almost all hispanic and quite a few houses with several hundred chickens. They love their cockfighting errr... "sporting birds."

Yeah there is especially with all the big companies moving here. I had moved my LLC here before we moved. Never had CA tags here!

For those prices you can have one hell of a house here in ND! Hell my current house is around those sqft and was only $200k. Hell for $700k i could have one hell of a nice farm stead with a few acres on it.

Cyclical, "allow" real estate to become depressed in value.
Purchase at small percentage compared to historical values.
Influence policies to "clean up" this part of the city.
Create renewed incentives for businesses and housing.
Cash in, rinse and repeat.
