That kind of was the entire idea of the slave trade and I'd say all that was put to paid from the Civil War.

The bigger issue here is "legacy" students given priority to a university over other individuals who may be more qualified for admission. This form of discrimination happens in universities/colleges all over the country and also at most work places.

Good point about Africa. I guess I just see it as the cleanest possible answer to the now long established social dissonance. When it comes to nations and civilizations folks have every right to hold a grudge against a nation, but they shouldn't be citizens of that nation if they can't reconcile it. It's one thing to know your history and another thing to ask for ancestral accountability from individuals for the actions of an entire nation. I feel like at that point you haven't reconciled it.

It really seems like these SJW's are just reincarnations of my ex-wife. The problem of slavery was settled and done a century and a half ago. But they constantly try to bring it up again just to stir things up.

Great Britain was, and that was a huge part of the revolutionary war fire. They wanted to tax slaves specifically just like everyone else is, cutting into the land owner/producers profits. They shifted from physical slavery to economic slavery to undermine the agricultural and industrial growing might of all their colonies.
Basically, it went from the King owning economic slaves who themselves owned physical work slaves, to the king owning all as economic slaves. It was a move to centralize power.

My understanding is that Liberia was set up for that very purpose. Not many slaves left, knowing they were better off here, apparently. Now Liberia has become one of those SH countries too. No country in the history of our world has done more to help, incorporate, even carry minority populations than this one, but it's never enough. By what measure is it not a net negative contribution, if you take out the entertainment industry, which includes sports? Of course there are notable exceptions, but it is the exception that proves the rule.
