Time for folks to wake up and get organized...I have multi fueled space heaters and solar and good old fashioned candles/oil powered space heaters.

It's not just the ships, which are "special" in order to keep the gas cold / compressed to stay in liquid state for transport across the Atlantic, but the infrastructure on land to include terminals to load and off-load the gas are in very short supply.

One of those ships typically holds 150,000 cubic meters of gas, and there are a total of ~650 in the world (not all of that capacity). They were basically booked solid before this shitshow, as are the ports capable of on-/off-loading cryogenic NG.

By comparison, Nord Stream 2 was capable of 75,000,000 cubic meters per day.

We're simply not going to move any substantial quantity of additional gas to Europe. That capacity doesn't exist in the world today, and won't magically materialize overnight.
