Sirhr, this isn't aimed at you, but your post got me thinking on the following. I know this is basically to most here, but I was truly surprised at how shocking my libtarded relatives were when I relayed this to them several years ago.

Right now, the lefties are protected by both the corrupted system and golden handcuffs. And both of these separate systems must work if they are to remain protected.
Now, I am not nieve, but I think the lefties got anxious. The hippys are feeling one foot in the grave and want to see their life's work realized before they become Satan's bitchmeat. They overplayed their hand and in doing so, they red-pilled more than they bargained for. They turned the temp up on the pot too fast and more and more folks are noticing, including some that they need to "mah pension" their way into serious offenses against the population, both police and military as well as media. (Not all, by any stretch. But once some take that step, it becomes easier for others to step forward.) They moved faster than the corrupted system could. Will it be enough to crash it? Remains to be seen.
However, they are also making moves on the golden handcuffs. Cancel me for wrong-think? Fire me for not playing Russian roulette with your science experiment? Delete my bank accounts for being a meanie? Well, you've just made it less expensive for me to creatively disagree with your version of society. And those who practice it.
I have no dissolutions about how terrible it will actually be if that balloon goes up. But I am encouraged by what I've seen recently (not from the libs, but from folks in general). The J6 absolute flop. Most localities pushing back against the sexcult tranny-the-kids craziness. Hell, I know several left of center folks who also think the .gov was involved in the Vegas shooting. I’ve been saying this for years… the Bernie’s and Schumer and Deans have to get to their Commie promised land before they die…. And the older they get, the more desperate they are for “global socialist utopia in our time.”

And I’m not the author of this… the first person to really say it out loud was PJ O’Rourke who branded the baby boom generation as the most selfish, self-centered screaming, crying, violent, unhinged, drug-addled fucked up generation since Rome. It aint the BB that voted in enough numbers - they are dying off. And it isn’t just cheating. Someone voted. A lot of someone’s. And not just women as some here like to espouse. I find it telling when the economy is in shambles, it appears that the house could turn red and the Dems call it “acceptable”. It means that there are significant numbers of citizens that agree with them on the course of action they desire. There is no bias in that comment, just observation.

Could it be that many find capitalism too hard of a life to live? The prospects of self determination too scary? The fear and humility of failing in life’s goals too overwhelming? That the siren song of socialist certainty actually has a very real and large following? Could it be that the Covid stimulus checks found the mark? That inflation has priced the life they wanted so completely out of their reach that they have given up? Maybe the false instagram PR of the high life has caused people to think they can never be happy living a productive life? Has the rot of materialism caused people to reject work and desire an alternative that is far below what they really desire and settle for what they can be provided? Do they now detest those who have what they see and want in all forms of media that they now want to pull everyone down their level?

Dissatisfaction and the resulting hate and anger are real, even if the narrative that cause it are false. What if the PR campaign has found a home within the voting block?
