Movie Theater Ghost Protocol

Re: Ghost Protocol

I've seen the first two didn't bother with the third. So this is actually a good movie? Not just a average action flick to kill time?

Re: Ghost Protocol

I didn't think it was that great. The movie didn't take itself very seriously at all with way too much comic relief. It was like a mix of Ocean's Eleven and James Bond and not enough Bourne Identity. The picture and cinematography was good overall except the CGI of the Kremlin.

After the movie I looked up who the director was and it all made sense. He previously wrote/directed The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, and Ratatouille.

You say that like it's a bad thing. No kids, Johnson?

Re: Ghost Protocol

Pretty good movie overall, but the villain wasn't entirely believable to me. They also made Dubai look way cooler than it is. The action sequences were very solid, and Jeremy Renner turned in a solid performance.

Re: Ghost Protocol

Very good. I loved Mi2 but somehow missed the third one. This one stands alone quite well though without any prior knowledge of what happened in previous movies. A must-see for the big screen.

Well said man. The third one was good, but this one was just too...well, there wasn't enough "Bourne". And I liked all the ones previous!(mind you I was 14 when the 2nd one came out.)

Re: Ghost Protocol

It was OK. The movie is a little more T Cruise focused. If you catch the credits, you will notice why this is the case. Some of the action/fight scenes are a little drawn out. At the end of the movie, some people return to San Francisco, go ahead and leave the theater. It was a waste of 10-15 minutes of your life by trying to "add" a new plot to the end of the movie.

I recommend it for a rental for sure.

Re: Ghost Protocol

I want my husband to see this in IMAX...I loved it and I am a picky movie goer and consider myself sophisticated in that I AMA hopeful screenwriter. Structurally the movie had it's beats a little off but everything was in there...my only complaint is the white pants Tom wore at the dock...somebody should have told him they were not flattering his assets... But Jeremy was looking tight and nice...the girl was gorgeous and Simon was hilarious and lovable... I can't wait for this to come out on DVD and watch it with director commentary
