Hunting & Fishing Gillette, WY goose hunt

I had no idea the goose hunting would have been so good here in WY. We set out our spread and waited for about an hour for the birds to show up. From the first shot to the last shot took 15minutes and we ended up with our two man limit of 10geese.

(I didn't realize how bloody my hand was... whoops!)

yea, saturday morning, my buddy killed 4 greenhead and 5 canadas, then we only killed 3 honkers on sunday.

Congrats on a successful hunt!

I know what ya' mean about not realizing how many geese there were in the Cowboy State. I moved out here from Florida in 2000, and I'm still amazed by all the migratories here. I could sit in my driveway and bag my limit of ducks or geese in about the same time as you did yours. Damn honkers fly right over me and plaster my car and motorcycle pretty regularly. We also have a crapload of great blue herons nesting a couple hundred yards down the road from me...go figger.

At least we dont have any toll roads and dont have to pay for our gas till you are done pumping. And you can usally go 90mph to make it go a little faster

If that is the same Belle I know of, it's only about 3 miles from my house! Hope you have a great trip. It's only 90* today.... makes for great hunting weather* hahaha!
