Giraurd power trimmer vs triway

Can anyone describe the difference btw the giraurd tri way and the power trimmer besides the obvious fact one comes with a motor? They seem to do the same thing and you're just paying $400 extra for a motor.

Also, I saw a guy post a power trimmer in the classifieds and his price appeared to be the cost of a new one yet it sold super quick. Is there a super long lead time on this item?

Aside from being individual caliber specific for the tri-way vs. multi-caliber for power trimmer. Both serve well the intended purpose...

Not a long lead time as recent of Jan-19 and suspect the unit in classifieds had enough additional cutters and holders that it was deemed a bargain by purchaser.

Thanks for the info and that makes sense. I'm going to pick up a triway for 223 and use my Forster manual trimmer for everything else

Can probably never have too many trimmers... Have multiple choices myself.

Just prefer power nowadays and vow never to rub my fingertips raw on manual RCBS trimmer like I did starting out 35 years ago. ?

The table top version has a much wider support for calibers. Can’t even get a 6.5 creed triway
