Their sizes vary too much to be reliable enough for accurate ranging, but 14" - 19" depending on age, weight, and genetics.

For comparison, here is a 7 1/2+ year old next to a very healthy 4 1/2 year old. The mature deer's body outsizes him by 20% or more in every measurement.
