It’s awesome stuff!!
I swapped out the fill in my Warhorse Development Saracen first to check it out. Yes the obvious result is reduced pack weight, but the bigger advantage was the just as solid stability as the heavy fills.
A quick back story, I actually swapped out the poly fill for hard red winter wheat, as I like the kernel shape better and find it was more stable. The wheat fill added about 2lbs to it, but I packed it anyhow.
So when I swapped for the Gite-Lite, I was looking for a very specific result, and my expectations were more then met. I use it for everything from positional to prone and everywhere in between. I even filled my sons Comanche with it too, and he is very adamant about carrying his own gear.
So long story short, yes I feel it’s well worth the cost!!
