Anyone use this tripods for shooting? I’m in the market for a new tripod. Since I’ll be using my CF Manfrotto tripod for a spoting scope that I ordered.

I ran one in matches for several years and they are very good, would be my second choice behind RRS.

Models to look at would include the 1325 and 3530LSV (not the short) or 3531. Same dimensions as the other common full size 3 series tripods. They are compatible with the RRS TA-3 leveling base, which is also what I would recommend.

Look for them used in the sub $500 range, the 1325 should be a bit cheaper since it's older, about 8oz heavier, and does not have anti-twist legs. It's equally as sturdy though. I would not pay new prices for them, just buy a RRS at that point.

Also - buy once cry once and get a RRS, you'll want one eventually anyway. :)

Yea you’re right.. I’m all in with buy once cry once too. I’ll check out RRS. Any recommendations of RRS tripod? I kinda want one that folds fairly compact too. Thanks again
