They played/looked like shit at times today, and hopefully got THAT out of their systems. DID NOT look like a Super Bowl team, unfortunately.
I 100 percent agree! It almost seemed like Mike Holmgren was calling the plays! We did not play to our capability...on the other hand our defense was awesome as always! I believe that this loss will wake us up and make us play to our ability. I have been a fan of the seattle seahawks since I was a kid. I had the opportunity to play in the king dome when I was knee high to a grasshopper in PYF . (Mike tice was a tight end)Its been a long road and were not to the end yet! I call Super Bowl 24-17 Hawks!

The SeaChickens are setting everyone up for serious disappointment. The over-reliance on Wilson and under-reliance on Lynch will be their downfall.

I missed the game today but it sounds like it was a good win over St Louis. Sounds like the offense is still a little weak and I hope they can tighten that up as we go into the playoffs with the home-field advantage.
I think the refs gave the game to the Hawks, I also think the guy who was screaming at the reporter after the game is juicing too much.
No, actually I am a Broncos fan but I hate one sided games.
That game was sloppy. How the hell either of them made it to the NFC championships is beyond me.
The Manning team is literally the best team I have ever seen Denver have, and that includes the years Mr. Ed was quarterback.
Anybody that watched the games today knows Denver is going to clean their clocks....

On the SB , I will go out on a limb here and say its going to be a good one. I thought the playoffs were good this year. Congrats to the Broncs and Hawks. The Hawks QB Wilson looked like a midget standing next to Terry Bradshaw, he is good but a small dude for the NFL, I think he has a good career ahead of him though.

I still believe this is Peyton's year. If the hawks can get penetration with an outside pass rush (something the Pats failed to do yesterday), this could go either way.

While I only support the Broncos for the fact they have former Kentucky players on the roster...... I think the Sea Hawks will lose in the super bowl. They did not utilize Lynch enough today and they cannot rely on Wilson, he is not as experienced as Payton. I am also of the opinion that Payton will retire if he wins the Super Bowl. He is just to beat up and in a constant state of decline, physically.
I hope Sherman can tone down the post game antics. He looked like a complete jackass on TV. He ought to conduct himself like the professional he is supposed to be!

It's not like the Seahawk's have beaten Manning in their last match-ups. That 40-10 last August or the 30-10 the year before I'm sure was just pure luck. Yeah I'm sure Denver is just going to walk all over them. Lol... And those games were both home AND away, so the whiner fans can spare us the whole home field advantage argument.
I love how everyone is attacking Sherman yet saying nothing about the fact that Crabtree was talking some serious trash. You expect these guys to be amped up smashing machines then the second the games over just turn it off like a light switch? Come on dude... He didn't swear, didn't call him names, and didn't do anything but essentially say "You mad bro?" lol.
And as to the bad calls... The Seahawks are literally the most penalized team in the league. I'm not even going to get started on the absolute bullshit that was the Superbowl they were in where that game was officiated the way the NFL wanted it to go. Unfortunately, that will probably be the case with this Superbowl since the NFL wanted to see a Brady vs. Manning and now they won't.

I dont give a shit about the Seahawks, Niners, Broncos, or Patriots!!!! I could care less. I just like to see good football games. I think the hawks got some lenient calls in their favor that put points on the board. Without that call near the end of the game the Niners would have won the game. That is just a clear observation from watching it.
I will only support the Broncos for this one game because of the past college players that are on it. 3 happen to be from our college, and one of them happens to be a friend of ours.
Am I attacking Sherman or giving some helpful advice to the guy? Because he clearly can not handle a camera in his face after a win. These big games will always come with hype. There is always trash talking in football or any sport but to run around a field after a win doing the choke sign to all the other players, the guys who never shit talked him, is classless and a show of poor sportmanship. He is better then that. Let your game speak for you off the field, go out of that place with your championship hat and t-shirt on and let that be your shit talking to the other guys. Don't run up to the guy as soon as he has just missed a huge play and shit on his dreams of going to the SB! Have tact! Is that to much to ask for from the guys that get paid millions of dollars to be PROFESSIONAL sports figures? Sorry if I expect to much from the guys that are paid millions of dollars to catch a ball, collect big endorsement deals, and be a role model for thousands of kids.

Trash talk has it's place in pro sports. I think Deone Sanders went about it with the right tact, not taking
it too seriously, and the man could back it up on the field. Richard Sherman seems to get to caught up in the moment

Adam I wasn't implying you were a Niner's fan or any other for that reason so if that's the way you took it then I apologize. I still think blaming shit on a bad call is pointless. There's always going to be bad calls but they never get pointed out when it's in the underdogs favor.

I admit that I know little about Pro ball, but I did watch both games Sunday. The Broncos sure look tough. Its definitely going to be an up hill battle for the Seahawks. I just don't think Peyton is going to lose.
I was not insinuating that you were making me out to be a fan. I am just saying I have no investment in any of the playoff teams. I do however feel that the game should be played and earned by the players, not the refs. Same thing in college basketball right now. Anyone noticed how the points spread that comes out of vegas is always within a 1/2 point?
Are you telling me the guys in Vegas know the EXACT score to each game?! I am almost 100% convinced that the Vegas gamblers pay the refs to keep the games within the spread. It has happened before! I didn't see the game as having a clear underdog. I think both teams were evenly matched and if anything the SeaHawks have more weapons. Their defense is super tough. Sherman IS the best corner in the game currently and the offense has Marshawn Lynch, that dude is a beast.

I want to see the teams battle, I don't want to see the ref screw over a team that CLEARLY deserved a 15 yard penalty resulting in a first down for them. Preventing a score from Seattle and at that point it would have been a 1pt game. Instead they gave up a HUGE play that was a momentum changer. That has a huge affect on teams, clearly.

These guys get paid millions to be in the spotlight and you don't expect them to act with some sort of mental note that "hey, thousands of kids idolize me and I need to set a good example"? They don't have a choice to be role models, they are. I have zero problem with what he said, I have a problem with how he went about it. So next time peewee football fires up how many 9 year olds are going to be running around doing the choke sign and calling the opposing players "mediocre" and "sorry" players? It all has a domino affect and I really believe in the 3-12 age range our kids minds are so impressionable. The Hawks have the biggest challenge of this teams life. From the coach to the kicker, this team is made of people who were told they weren't good enough! ,Let go by teams who didn't know what they had! They, themselves as individuals have an amazing comrodery and story to tell. This year 2013 Super Bowl this story will be told! Not to take anything away from Manning and the Denver Broncos. They have excellent players and have proved so all year! in my opinion he who wants it most will prevail ! It will be a physical game and may the best team win
