Got a deal on a GE for F-Class. Got it zero'd (harder than I thought it would be).
Anyway because its MOA (yeah F-class is all MOA) I can turn those turrets about 57 times. Eventually I can bottom the elevation out--the problem is I have about 2 turns more to get to the zero stop. If you loosen the screws the turret just "spins" so you can align to zero, but you can't "force" it down another revolution.
I'm a little OCD so I like to zero with a hard stop, but was wondering how to "reset" the turret so that my "zero" truly is "zero" not just zero on turn 2. (Yeah there's a line there, i could mark it--I like mechanical over visual).
Would it make send to intentionally add 10 MOA, realign to zero (loosened screws) and then dial "down" that 10MOA until I bottom it out?
