Rifle Scopes Good choice?

Timed out of PR. Past life participated in three gun. Still have a 12” CAR.
Like the Trijicon Tr 24r. Likely used <300 yd.
I am under the impression these can still be purchased as fresh product . Only ever used A-1 sight with A-2 aperture in multi gun. Not an option now.

I like the TR24 as a whole, but i think there are better options. The triangle reticle sucks for holding over and I only consider it good for out to 200 or so. The other reticles are kind of thick and dont offer much information. If i remember right, the triangle reticle had good illumination, but the others were kind of lacking.

If i was looking for a 1-4x today, I'd consider a steiner p4xi with the p3tr reticle. Thing is, for the price, I'd just go 1-6x and get a trijicon credo hx or delta Stryker.
