Can someone reccomend a good coated rod cleaning kit?

Ideally to include: brushes, patch eylets, and adapters
cheaper the better , but a good value product

NOT A OTIS as it is not a 'rod'

Re: Good coated rod cleaning kit?

I ruined 2 Dewey rods then I bought a couple Montana Extreme rods to replace them. I was reluctant to pay that much for a cleaning rod, but I have to say they are very nice. The coating seems to be harder and more durable to me. I like the Dewey brushes.

Re: Good coated rod cleaning kit?

I go the Tipton cleaning kit from Midway about 5 or 6 yrs ago then also have one piece Dewey rods. The Midway kit has all jags and bore brushes from .17 up to 45 cal and everything in between. It also has two cleaning rods in it that break down to three pieces. I prefer one piece rods when I'm home but they are good for having when I go to the range for backups. While it costs a little bit, wait for a special at Midway and the discount codes and it's a great value.
