the browning has a 19" or 20" barrel and the 6.8 is SBR'd FYI . I like the 43" the bigger size case would be massive

Thanks. I think all my rifles may be too long for a 43.” I haven’t measured.

Thanks! I've been keeping any eye out for used pelican cases but it seems like there are a lot more options now

When you say the foam is soft can you compare it to other types such as pelican foam? Do the top and bottom foam touch fairly snugly?

I think it’s a little softer than the pick n pluck from pelican. The top is eggshell but I’ve heard nothing shift.

I’ve got my rifle measured at 39” from snoot to boot. I believe it’s 18” plus the little Bastard. I had just enough foam buffer on either side to feel comfortable. Worth mentioning because the wheels are recessed I had to place the barrel between them because the stock wouldn’t fit. It works out because you want to load it heavy side towards the wheels but it’s worth mentioning.
