In our aeropress, we picked up a few of those stainless mesh filters and use those instead of the paper ones. The grind is just a touch bigger/coarser than what plugs said mesh.
I'll try to remember to get a pic of it tomorrow.
It was a few of the Elder Squirrels that got me onto roasting my own beans. Now our coffee is guaranteed fresh, and almost always "less than a week old".
Next step will be to do a system that can handle more than 1 lb at a time.
