Re: Google Earth says i have 1016.82 yards...Now what?
Rather than doing a diagonal range, I would suggest doing a 900 yard range in the center of your property and you will have plenty of room for a berm and perhaps even a second, shorter berm in front of it with retracting target/s so you can have a puller and have each shot scored like in a match.
I also agree that a logger should be hired to remove the trees and he would do all the work. You may ask him to remove the stumps and take them away as well so that all you have to do afterwards is come in with a dozer and clean it up. This way you may get less money for your logs, but will come out ahead in the end as the loggers have all the equipment to handle this project. While he is cutting, you can be building your berm. Make sure the berm is at least 4 times higher than your target and at least 5 times wider, if not more, regardless of how good a shot you are. Oh, and you will be surprised at the amount of dirt needed to build a good sized berm!
Finally, be sure and consult the NRA range information for building ranges and comply with all laws.
