While I have nothing against transgenders if that's what they want to do with their body. Whatever floats the boat... (Frankly I believe they need a therapist more than an operation). I certainly would not want my child taught by a transgender teacher. Sorting stuff out in childhood is hard enough --esp if there's same sex attraction. Throwing questions of gender identity by association is a bridge too far... that aside what REALLY annoys me:

Said better In the words of Cruz:

“This judicial rewriting of our laws short-circuited the legislative process and the authority of the electorate,” he said. “Six un-elected and unaccountable judges instead took it upon themselves to act as legislators, and that undermines our democratic process.”

You guys are looking at this all wrong. They just removed the "get out and vote" cause from millions of single platform liberals. Now they have to go back to clamoring for killing babies, where their side is much more split and easier to defeat.

Quite frankly, I could give a shit less. Do I think someone should be fired for being gay? No, certainly not. Do I think they need federal protection of it? Nope, not the government's place to interfere in private industry. Do I give a shit about gays? Nope, my last supervisor was gay, we all got to sit around the bar after work and bitch about our wives, so she fit right in.

It’s really not the content that sucks, it’s pulling it out of their collective asses that irks me. It took some serious legal gymnastics to to do what they did.

The bulk of Title VII is bullshit and the real legal gymnastics. Equal treatment under the law, absolutely, but the law should not enter into the private sector. How we as Americans over the centuries allowed the government into our bedrooms and our businesses is the real crime.

As the law stands though, it is hardly a far stretch to relate sexual orientation discrimination into sex, especially in American politics and law. FFS, we have a legal system full of loopholes and insanely dubiously speculative "reasonable doubt" that gets murders and rapists set free every day, I'm not losing a minute of sleep over gays and transvestites not being able to get fired based on their sexuality.

Im actually for this one, after watching my nephew get fired for being gay. What Im royally pissed off about is the dereliction of duty by scotus punting on the 2nd amendment cases brought to them.

There's nothing wrong with the bill and Shapiro's perspective is skewed by his religious beliefs which have no place in our legislative or judicial processes. Shairpos' morality is as malleable as he needs it to be to keep his audience tuning in.

The original law was discrimination based on gender. Transgenderism is a condition around gender identity. to suggest it's a 'choice' is to suggest that being heterosexual or homosexual is a conscious choice. Bullshit. Discrimination against someone's gender or their gender identity is bigotry and has no place in a society where life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is a founding principle. Whether public company or private, no bueno.

It doesn't matter whether you like gays, or don't, know them or don't, you can't discriminate actively against them and they deserve federal protection as much as any of you feel you or your loved ones do.

Where I personally draw the line in what is/isn't bigotry is this nonesense around pronouns. Fuck that, I'll call you whatever pronoun I want under my right to freedom of speech, another federally and constitutionally protected right. See how that works - applies equally to all of us even when it pisses some of us off.

Love the USA, the Constitution and even the assholes who think it only applies to them and not their fellow Americans.

Do you see the irony here? One worldview in conflict with another worldview...

Don’t misconstrue lack of support for what the Supreme Court just did with lack of support for lgbt rights...frankly you should actually go watch’s shapiros video in full

What the scotus did was “reinterpret “ the law to cover something that wasn’t covered under the existing law.....that’s not How our legal system works.

What you need to do is pass a new law to cover what you need.

This is the same shit that happened in MA with ar15s. For decades ar15s were legal so long as they were “compliant”..... then over night the AG “reinterpreted” the law to read how she wanted it to read, and banned ARs

They need a therapist and endocrinologist because they are hormonally imbalanced in the first place, which causes the need for psychiatrist/therapist.

Like you I have nothing personally against trans folks, but get the endocrine/hormone system back on track to their original biological gender and many would function normally as their genetic/biological gender.

Yep too: "WATCH THE VIDEO IN FULL!"

If the blitethering idiots in in Congress had half Shapiro's razor shape logic --and voted on the law as it's written, we'd be in a far better place. What the Supreme court did was textualize the civil rights laws --and by doing so suck up to the big 'woke' corporations and colleges. When as you point out "same shit happened with AR's" --YEP again! And people wonder why there's about Z.E.R.O. effen trust in government anymore.
    SHAPIRO 2024 --right after TRUMP 2020! :)
