I think one of THE most useful rifles for any shooting enthusiast is a really accurate, hi end .22 rimfire. I've got an ancient, 3 digit serial Kimber as well as a Volquartsen auto. use them on our little ground squirrels. Lots of fun.

Also take out the Kimber occasionally and shoot 50 and 100 yd groups off the bench. Always an education on the basics.

Beautiful rifle. Congratulations!

Thanks for the replies....I have been saving for awhile to get one of these and went to a local gun store today and looked at it....After fondling it for awhile, I knew I had to bring it home with me. My wife has no idea how much it cost...she thinks it's cheap because it's a 22....:)

That is a very nice rifle and what she does not know is probably a very good thing. That is not something you come across every day congrats on your purchase and enjoy it.

Thanks....I just came in from shooting it in my backyard. I have to say that I absolutely love it...:) I've always been a shotgun shooter as I shot competition skeet for years...I quit shooting skeet about 10 years ago as I was getting burned out on it. I've never been a real good rifle shooter but I have always wanted a nice .22 rifle to hunt with and shoot paper in the backyard. This rifle has the best trigger of any .22 I've ever shot...I don't have any real good ammo to shoot through it yet as I have got some ordered. I picked up some subsonic stuff the local shop had and it seems to do pretty good. Here's my best groups today I shot with it at 50 yards in the backyard. I can't wait to get some of the good stuff...:)

I had go fondle them again today... Depending on this range report, I might not be able to contain myself. Then another chunk of change for a Swarovski or some sexy to match!
