Built by Jerry Newman of Newman Precision in Oaklahoma. Jerry's work is 2nd to none. Great customer service and attention to detail.

Specs:

Left Hand Stiller Tac30 Action
McMillan A5 in Desert Camo with LOP Spacer System
Badger M5 BM
Rock 1:11.25 5R Barrel #10 MTU contour finished at 24"
Jewel Trigger
Stiller 20MOA Base
Stiller .30 Recoil Lug

Topped off with a Premier Heritage 5-25X 56mm in Badger 34mm rings. Thank you Mike for hooking me up. CSTactical FTW!

I finally have all 3 comp rigs done.

Everything is the same except for stock color and caliber. The 308win is a lil shorter at 24".

In the middle is my GAP 243win and on the right is my KMW 260rem.

Nice rigs and all, but Ide call the smith and ask for my money back if I were you! HE PUT THE BOLT KNOBS/HANDLES ON THE WRONG SIDE!!!

what load are you going to run? 155's or 175's?

hell, my bbr 284 may be put into a temporary retirement if sierra doesn't start making some 7mm 175's soon. i am going to be ordering a standby barrel for it soon though.

but for real, shoot the 308 at the long range match. i dare you

i have some new sierra 155 palma's and more h4895 waiting for me when i get home. i need to work up a load that works. i also have another nightforce on order for it. i'll come out and and win the steel match once i get it shooting good though

Not only is Jerry a topshelf 'smith, he is also one of the nicest guys you could deal with. In a few days, I will post pics of the 30-06 he built for me. I'll bet he called me 4 or 5 times to make sure he was doing just what I wanted. I was in tears when Terry Cross told me he would not be taking anymore custom orders, but he told me to dry my eyes and call Jerry and I would feel all better--- he was right.

I got the same word from Terry when I asked him to build me a few rigs.

Jerry and I have became pretty good friends over the last year or two and talk weekly. He called me about 3 times this weekend to see if I am happy with the rifle.

First time shooting the 308win today and first time I felt decent recoil for about 2 years. LOL.

Looks like 44.0gn of Varget gets the nod. Might try to make the after Christmas 1K shoot to see how she holds at distance.
