Hi,
After looking at about every .22 rifle from a Ruger 10-22,to a Marlin 60 finally went with a LH bolt CZ 452 American! Nice little rifle! I ordered a DIP mount so I can use regular rings.

I ran the trigger spring all the way out and applied some MOLY grease to the trigger and sear and the trigger feels good. I have a Weaver 3x10 Tactical scope and will try that just to see how it shoots! How are you guys tweeking these CZ bolt .22's???

Beautiful rifle. I have the CZ 455, but the concept is the same. Yodave trigger kit, DIP scope rail, pillar and epoxy bed the stock and some are epoxy bedding the barrel. Good ammo and practice will get you the best results. Look at the myriad of other discussions on 455/425 accuracy and improvements to get a better idea. Also, look into the 455 fuglie, that is an instructive discussion in 22 rimfire accuracy. Post a range report when you can.

Hi,
Thanks, just pulled the barreled action again and relieved some wood on the left front of the stock. Barrel seems to be free floating now. Will look on a tutorial for pillars and bedding info. I have a lathe and mill and gunsmith for a hobby. Admittedly havent done that much bedding and want to get that right!
