I came across up ammo supply the other day and they had m118 lr take down bullets for 40.00 for 250 count. So I ordered some and to my surprise shot great, btw they are the 175 smk. Needless to say I ordered 500 more, it definitely cut my reloading cost down even further. I just thought I'd share the info so we can all shoot more for less money.

I just think that they are a good way to save money. 500 smk's at midway are 200 bucks, 500 pull downs at up ammo supply 80 bucks. I'll take the 500 for 80 they shot no diff. than my brand new oftb smk's.

Go to the site on the left hand side go down to military pulled bullets click on 308 and the m80 and m118 will come up.

I have more but haven't listed them yet. In just a few hours they will be on the site. I posted an explanation in the description of the 500 qty. M118 listing. Good news I have more bad news. Slight price icrease. Good news again. Less pull marks to a slight degree.

No problem I just ran ran across this site, glad I did. The price is definitely right I couldn't pass it up. I've ordered a thousand total now. I wanted to get them while there available, we all know how stuff drys up quick sometimes especially surplus.

How much accuracy do you loose being that they are pulled? How much do the marks effect the flight path?

Not enough to really matter. I shot .5 or better with these at 100, Im using them for ringing steel at 565 no problems so far. I use nosler custom comps for my bughole loads not sierras anyway. For the price I can't complain, at the least you should be moa I got better but that depends on your rifle load combo. .

okay, I was using FGMM to hit steel at 1061 yards with out issue. And those are 175 smks.

I've been happy with pulled bullets so far. The pull marks don't bother me a bit. What do you think rifling does to the jacket when it's ripping down the bore. I've been able to get .5 out of these which is fine for practice. I save the big money bullets for my bughole loads. With these bullets I've been able to get my reloading cost down to .37 a round. .18 for bullet,.3 primer,.16 powder,and brass free. People at my range shoot a lot of GMM and give me the brass I haven't bought brass in forever.

They look pretty good, just a few with damage enough to <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">possibly</span></span>, have an effect on accuracy, I believe they'll prove to be money well spent.
Ordered some SS109 air pulls at the same time, for alledgedly having less marks than machine pulls the ones that show more than superficial damage show much more, its probably not even 20 out of the 1000 but the majority of that 20 appear unserviceable, tips bent way over or sheared off or jackets coming apart. Certainly don't feel cheated on them either just something to be aware of.

Only bad thing is I'm running through powder like shit through a goose. I've been loading like a mad man. I already have a great load worked up for 175's I've been using for a while so all I gotta do is load'em up.
