Just wanted to give folks a heads up. I found this deal and thought I would pass along some info. I ordered one and had it to my door in 2 days. I have bought from AA optics before but apparently this is some kinda black Friday deal. Apparently they are doing some kinda of special each week or something. Any how if your in need of a damn nice scope at a killer price, check it out. I looked for a minute and can't find a better deal anywhere. Hope this helps someone else on a budget out.

I saw this deal on gundeals.com earlier today. When I saw refurbished gen 1 pst that said it all. Either you have a small budget and a lot of time to wait for your scope to be returned from vortex after its been repair again and again, then its a great deal.

I'm not trying to be a dick here. That is the reputation that the gen 1 PST has earned. I've seen one in person go down in a $400 weekend class. That doesn't even mention gas, ammo and time wasted to get results.

All that being said, I purchased a Gen 2. We'll all see how that pans out?

Wow I’ve had one on order at my local shop, when we called Vortex directly last week they said they only had two in stock so I ordered one of them, just waiting on it to be delivered to the shop. This is a great price but it is a refurbished scope, not sure if that is any concern thou due to Vortex’s great warranty. I will contact Vortex tomorrow and check but if the warranty is the same & applies to refurbished equipment I’ll order one for myself.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to Allen at http://aaoptics.com/ for taking care of this customer. As I posted above I ordered one of their refurbished Vortex scopes and the package was stolen from my porch.
Today Allen emailed me the tracking number to a shipment of a replacement scope.
