What a colossal dumbass! I have found myself face to face with moose near Sitka AK and Wanship UT, both times I backed away and put trees between us as fast as possible. Moose are fucking mean on any given day, walking up to a moose with calf like that is asking to get your skull crushed by 1800 pounds of anger mismanagement.
Are you being a smart ass or a dumb ass? Do you consider the course of events described in the article as natural? If so I would submit that you are a dumb ass.
A natural course of events would be: Moose swims across lake and into the woods. Moose swims across lake while being spotted by a hunter, as the moose steps on land he is killed by the hunter.
I am suggesting that people are fucking stupid, and that the Orgasm some get by seeing an animal in the wild is generally not good for the animal.
I shall give more examples.

Funny ass and smart ass are the same. Good on you for Alaska moose, to bad the moose in the story did not meet the same fate.
My complaint is/was not about the animal dying, but about the manner in which it died.
