Took my boy for his two week checkup after surgery this morning. Doctor said that his bone is mending ahead of schedule. He also said that he could start putting weight back on it and start walking a little bit with a brace on. The brace is just for support because of the loss of muscle mass from being in a brace for so long. Doctor said that he should be able to walk short distances in a week or two and should be up and running before youth weekend in November. I couldn't be more proud of him he has been a trooper though this whole ordeal. He is the toughest kid I ever met and I'm proud he's mine,
