New member from reporting in. Finnish guy who recently relocated from land of snow and ice to sunny Arizona. Looking always to have opportunities to shoot, training long ranges, sniper tactical matches and field craft.
I currently setting up my infra in US i.e. getting new rifles etc since it was pain to bring my own AI, AR's over due paperwork. Way easier to acquire them locally.

that'd be great. I sure that bunch of us will be at Cowtown in few weeks...I hope to have my kit sorted before that. Bunch of things to do like find acceptable load/ammo, make new BDC's etc etc....Still kinda struggling between units. Yd vs m, mph vs m/s etc...

Stick to what you know. Lots of guys go metric for range. Meters/Mils. vs. Yards/MOA.

I should've got more flat caliber instead of 308win. Something that has BDC only for 2 ranges: "near" and "far".
