There are 44 companies (so far) who now refuse to sell firearms to law enforcement in states prohibiting your 2nd amendment rights. it takes courage and sacrifice to maintain freedom and I believe these companies are showing both commendable traits.

Crusader Weaponry
Top Gun Supply

Clark Fork Tactical
OFA Tactical

Truly patriotic move. It's about time that law (Constitution) abiding citizens began to resist these traitorous aspirations for "Gun Control". Unless things change I see potential serious conflicts in our Country's future. Time to exercise our Constitutional freedoms and boycott those companies who support anyone trying to curtail our God given rights !

False on the Midway claim:

Neither Larry Potterfield, nor MidwayUSA as a company, has issued any statements or made any changes regarding policies about selling to government entities.

However, it has always been our policy not to sell or ship products to areas that have passed laws prohibiting such activity, and there are no exceptions dependent on the type of Customer.

Thanks for Your Business!

We hung this list in the Write-Up area at our PD. We are hoping one of the Big 3 in LE sales (SIG, Glock, SW) have the balls to do it too.

Why would you do that? I've been a cop in NJ for 12 years and one of the strongest supporters of the 2nd Amendment in my department. NY, NJ, and all of the other communists states have had the toughest gun laws in the country since 1994. The only thing that these laws are doing is reducing an already low magazine capacity to even less, which is stupid. Before these laws were passed, these companies couldn't sell high capacity mags, collapsible stocks, flash hiders, or any other evil accessories. So what exactly has changed with these new gun laws? In reality nothing changed, so why are these companies taking it out on the police departments when we had nothing to do with these gun laws and most of us won't even enforce them anyway. I can understand if a state is going from a free state to a communist state and banning everything, but that isn't the case.

So sorry, but any cop that agrees with what these companies are doing are sell outs and don't get it. Because the second the law makers pull some shit like this in your state, these companies are going to turn their backs on you and you'll see how we feel.

This is exactly my point. These companies couldn't sell ban items to states before. Absolutely fucking stupid. Glad midway has some common sense.

Police officers are agents of the city/county/state/FED. The forced will of the government to make the population comply.

You are also saying you get to decide what laws to enforce and which ones you will let slide? I'm sure your dept. would love to hear that one.

If you don't agree with your local politics or employer, then move or go work somewhere else.

The whole point is if the population cannot have these items, then the government should not. Cops are the government.............

These have been the laws since 1994. What has changed since then? That's my point. Read what Midway posted above.

And I won't be enforcing any laws which will violate the 2nd amendment. Just like all of the sheriffs across the country have recently stated, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Well, LEOSA has seperated us out into a seperate category. I can also have access to select fire weapons based solely on my employment (ie- the full auto Colt Commando is in my closet just the same). I'm not arguing right or wrong because I don't really care if you have select fire, but we have absolutely been put into a different category. We can carry places that the public can't, we can access firearms that the public can't.

I am not the government in the tin foil hat sense. I am employed by a municipality to enforce the PA Crimes and Motor Vehicle Codes along with adopted ordinances. I am assigned to a regional SWAT team and county drug task force. That's as far up the Government ladder as I climb.

So are you going to ignore the pleothra of laws that are held up under the Interstate comerce clause, that clearly are not federal jurisdiction? Or do you get to decide what laws you will enforce and which ones you will not?

What does your accses to FA weapons have to do with it? If anything, your helping to prove their point.

If your not the government, then who is? You are the ARMED branch of the government, that forces the citizenry to comply, at the point of a firearm.

You should not be allowed to have ANYTHING, that the citizens cannot have. The whole point of the 2nd amendment is to ensure the citizens have an equitable means of combating tyrany.........which was/is/will be the government. Ya dig?

Yes, I dig. I could not care any less if you have a belt fed .50. I believe in the 2nd Ammendment and our right to oppose a tyrannical government.

My point is that we (police) are looked at as seperate from "above" and "below". The Fed sees us different than you and allow us access to nifty shit. You see us as different than you and say that we should not have said access. I really just want to answer my radio and do what little good i can for the 12 hours I'm here.

I am sort of tired of being stuck in the middle, when, if anyone even cared to listen, they would learn that we probably have more in common with you than you think. I don't "impose the will of the government by point of gun", I shoot the dumb mother fucker that just robbed the 7-11.

LE doesn't need to be armed like the military, but they Damn Sure should have the best available to any citizen in the US, no matter what state they work in.Don't punish the working man because of stupid ass politicians, get rid of the stupid ass politicians.

Then your agencies can provide said gear. If we cant buy it on the open market, then cops, who are also civilians should not be able to purchase them.

If your dept or agency thinks it's nessisary, then they will issue you the item.

If soldiers/Sailors/Marines/Airmen can go into battle with issue gear, then Cops can get by on what they are issued as well. Don't like it? Change from the inside or go work somewhere else.

I applaud all those providers who have made declarations in favor of supporting unimpaired gun ownership by the law abiding.

But I have problems with boycotts.

First, I doubt they have the desired consequences.

Next, I think that when we withhold our business, pick and choose among providers, all we really end up doing is helping the Grabbists in their game.

Gun related businesses have enough to contend with besides the complications related to a fickle customer base. Rumors, facts, and attitudes are never thoroughly correct. Often the 'good' get burned alongside the 'bad'. I would hate to be a shooting provider who has to cope with the issues prevalent in the industry right now, and add to it the worry that someone's going to get a bug up their ass, right or wrong, and smear my best intentions all over the marketplace.

There is plenty of time for consideration and choice. I do not harken to the quests of others, I buy according to my own need and availability, and pay what needs paying. This has always worked in the past, and should continue to do so.

Throwing politics into commerce has never benefited anyone.
