"(Gun Owners of America) are the pitbulls of the 2nd Amendment". Leftists unintentionally promoting GOA as they express fear, panic.

If anybody here has not made their New Year's resolutions yet or still contemplating on what it would be, here is a great idea:

JOIN THE GUN OWNERS OF AMERICA.

Even before their spectacular endorsement and support of Kyle Rittenhouse, the GOA has stirred panic and uncertainty in the leftist crowd as the gun rights organization had been branded by leftist mouthpieces as "the most aggressive and hardline" gun groups out there, which, to the leftists' further dismay, only gave free promotion and media coverage to the group.

How much of the money they raise is going towards the fight?

Judging from the responses of the leftists, I think 87% and higher are going into the fight. I hope so. Member here with absolutely no intention of looking elsewhere... And if this mandatory vax to work shit passes here in my area I am seriously thinking about working for GOA if they got remote online positions available. Ain't nothing better than doing something you feel strongly about...

ETA: One of the things that put the biggest smile on my face this year so far is that a portion of my own donations may have went into Kyle Rittenhouse's new AR-15 presented to him by GOA...

I'm a member. I'm always getting political updates. Where to send letters, and to whom to send them to. It appears to me, they are putting our money where their mouth is. Way more activism, than the NRA ever did. Just my opinion, anyways. Mac

Member here. Joined a couple of years ago looking for something that would fight better than the NRA. When Constitutional Carry was in process at the Texas State Legislature this year they made me proud. Communication, coordination, with members was outstanding. They sent out the call to appear in person at the capital or who to make calls to as part of the grassroots effort many times during the debate. The testimony at the State House hearings from our GOA rep vs the NRA rep was the final confirmation that my $ where being well spent, Life Member Now!!!!

GOA is worthy of your time and money. They spend nothing on constant slick mailings, outfits that harass you with phone calls, or "gifts" for renewing.

They are really on top of things in Congress and the state houses and are effective at communicating needs for action (which they make really easy to do). Their state guy here in PA is sharp and on top of things, and anything he sends me is important and gets immediate attention.

The NRA has problems but is still useful. Keep your NRA membership. Yes, I get pissed off at how they spend money, but it is fixable and you can't vote for new directors and officers if you're not a member. Most of us spend more on ammo for an afternoon than the yearly dues.

The best thing they do IMO is send an email with an issue at stake with an editable message that all.you need to do is verify your info and then it is forwarded to your legislators.
No other lobbyist group makes it this easy.

I paid for my NRA life membership almost 30 years ago because I knew I'd never change my opinion on my right to bear arms. Over the last 30 years the NRA has moved away from supporting competitive shooting, Olympic shooting, being the "go to" body for supporting hunting and shooting sports and gun rights to basically a well for Wayne LaPierre and his cronies to loot. Their support for gun rights is tepid at best for the last few years.

With the NRA selling out gun owners on a near daily basis, someone better step up. My contribution dollar goes to anyone but the NRA. Those fags can buy their $5000 suits from Rodeo drive with someone else's money. The use of PayPal does make me wonder if there is a leftist cabal at the center of the group? When clearly left wing companies support them, it concerns me.

When my current 5 year NRA membership lapses, they can FRO.
Full of Butter Fudds. Them going limp on the HPA sealed their fate as far as I'm concerned.
Anyone who has anything good to say about them, gets my instant suspicion.
I'll be an exclusive GOA member soon.

The NRA is easy to replicate.

Step 1: take donations
Step 2: ask for more donations
Step 3: after receiving additional donations, immediately send more requests for donations as if the previous donation never happened
Step 4: make false promises and take credit for the grassroots efforts you didn’t do
Step 5: repeat steps 3 & 4 infinitely
