Gun Safe Locks

Re: Gun Safe Locks

Do not get an electronic lock. I just had my electronic lock replaced on my safe with an S&G group 2 lock. It took the lock smith about 35 minutes. He spent the entire time telling me stories of electronic locks failing, having to drill safes etc.

An electronic lock only adds ease of entry to the safe at the cost of reliability. Get an S&G or LaGard group 2 dial lock & don't look back.

Re: Gun Safe Locks

Just like the above posts said. I bought from a dealer who moves about a dozen Liberties a month. He talked me out of the electronic lock. He said he often has to go out and replace those, whereas the mechanicals are never a problem.
