Gun security cabinet

Does anyone know of an inexpensive gun cabinet that would hold 14 rifles, and maybe 25 handguns? I thought about buying two of the Stack On 18 gun cabinets (9 if shelves are used) but I'm not sure if I could store all the handguns in them. Any info is appreciated.

$40,000.00 worth of goods in a $395.00 cabinet.... what's the worst that could happen? Just be sure it has strong 'carry handles' on the sides, eh?

Locks only keep the honest people out. Security is an overlapping concept.

Why buy a better safe?
Seriously?
As a garage hobbyist, I have basic powertools at my disposal
that can cut through 1/4 inch steel plate at minimal expense.
Why bother trying to open the door of an expensive safe,
when the back, sides, bottom and top are barely reinforced.

There are videos and web pages that teach how to open a gun safe in minutes.
Do a quick search and it'll show just how poorly a safe protects y'er rifles/pistols.

Safes or steel lockers are to keep kids and honest folks from handling my firearms.
Not for preventing theft or fire damage. I have insurance that covers that.
I have no desire to pay for and build a bank vault in a residential home.
That might slow down y'er average burglar. Unlikely to stop a professional. :(

Best info that I can give is that the "18 gun safe" or "32 gun safe" or whatever number must be based on only holding lever action rifles. A RSC is good for about 1/3 the number of scoped bolt action rifles as the marketing says. If you have a mixed lot of scoped rifles, lever rifles, and shotguns, then that number rises to about 1/2-2/3. If they're mil surps that are fine to rub against each other, then you can approach the marketing number. If you work for UPS, FedEx, or USPS then you can get 1.5 as many guns in a RSC as the marketing says- regardless of the configuration of the firearms.

Buy larger than the number of guns you have. They are falsely advertised on the number of guns they hold. Then you have to be concerned over any future gun purchases.

These smaller cabinets don't really facilitate handgun storage. Buy once, cry once and buy something larger. Tractor Supply always has a BIG gun safe sale on Black Friday. Might want to check them out for something a little better.

Good luck!

60 inch construction site job box will hold a significant amount of assorted ordnance and firearms.
Designed to be difficult to get into by an opportunist, won't even slow down a pro.

Throw a blanket over it, add a cushion, it's a bench.

I’ve been looking for a somewhat similar solution, in my case more of a vault/locker. I’d looked at Gallow technologies online? I have no experience with their products so don’t consider this a recommendation. Just FYI. Def. not inexpensive though
