Well, I didn't put this in the gunsmith forum cause...well, I ain't a gunsmith. But I do like to be self sufficient and I have some stuff so here goes. My first attempt at a badger knob install. Interesting to indicate to say the least but turned out great.

heres a hog leg Wilson bull barrel I turned down and threaded 1/2-28 to match the spr profile below it. That was alot
of material to remove.

Looks good. What machine are you using?

When I thread my AR barrels I'm going 5/8-24 even on the .223 stuff so my .30 cal can can be used without any thread adapters.

Hey mike, how's it going? Haven't seen ya much this year. I bought a mint like new grizzly g4016. Like it a lot so far. Does about everything I want and then some. Nice machines for foreign stuff.
