Gunsmithing Gunsmith charges

For chambering:
$200 to $350 is the general range I see.

For muzzle threads:
Lowest I've seen is $75 and highest I've seen is about $150. The average is $100 to $125.

I paid $500 for chambering and treading, which included the 5/8 muzzle. This also included cerakote though. So my guess is I would have been around the 350-400 mark for just the thread and chamber

For a Rem 700 it seems some of the top shops charge $300-350 for barrel fitting and $75-125 to thread a muzzle, that cost doesn't include the cost of the barrel

$325-$450. Chamber, headspace, thread and crown muzzle for a normal bolt gun application. Does not include blank or installation. Anything outside that range and you should be asking what am I getting extra or why is it so cheap.

Does not include "installation"?
"Instalation". The part where the finished barrel is installed on the rifle?
The majority of the blanks I finish are headspaced to a blueprint or previous measurements I've taken and carried out the door. If somebody brings a bare action in, I'll screw it on no-charge.
If somebody brings in a complete rifle with a scope in tube chassis, that takes some time and I charge accordingly.
