Quite correct. My HS Anthropology teacher would be turning over in his grave given what's going on. Back then, there were only three(3) recognized races (i.e. sub species of Homo Sapiens) in the anthropological community. I apologize for the terminology used back then but:

1) Negroid (probably African, today);
2) Mongolid (Asian Today);
3) Caucasoid (Caucasian - Anyone originating near the Caucasus Mountains).

No other entities were "races" back then. Therefore, "Jewish" was not a race. It was a "religion" and a "culture." As a matter of fact, my teacher used to put true/false questions on his exam saying things like, "The Jewish Race is X,Y. & Z" The answer would be "False" because there is no Jewish race.

Obviously, the NAZI's conflated the term race to apply to those that were not like "them" (White/Aryan). They were wrong on both fronts of course (ie. they were not a "race" to themselves and neither are Jews a "race" to themselves). I think more to the point, there are people who respond to things primarily through an emotional lens. This explains a lot of seemingly incongruous behavior on the part of highly educated people. Then there are those who seek data and intellectual honesty. Today’s schools are favoring the former over the latter.

The problem wasn’t that she said what she said. The problem is that no one was there with a strong enough intellect to counterpoint effectively. The rest of them are as hapless as her.

Not arguing that in fact I totally agree I worked at the University Of Washington atmospheric research lab on their aircraft Convair 580 I worked with a lot of those scientists some of them are dumber then hammers but then I learned that some of them seemed dumb because they were so fucking smart that I couldn’t understand them…. Some of the smartest people I’ve met never finished high school….
