Just kidding, there is another thread going about bore sighting and 100 yards.
Topstrap </div></div>
Can you point me to that thread? I'd like to see what was discussed. I've had to start at 25 before with no bore sight but since I've had access to a bore sight over the last 30 years or so I've been doing it the same way.</div></div>
Nothing needed to have access to....its as simple as getting a stable rifle (bipod and bags work fine), pulling the bolt and lining up the bore with the target at 100 yards. then you adjust the scope reticle to the target (verify back and forth bt bore and reticle a couple times to make sure both are set) then fire a round and you should be on paper, use your reticle to measure the correction (ex, 1.7 mils up, 2.3 mils right) dail in the adjustments and fire a shot. you should be in the bull or very very close. fine tune and you are ready to go...
