Whoa I like that ... thanks! Here is a literal encyclopedia for reloading 9MM.
32 powders tested, several guns, primers, brass, bullets, you name it.
good morning GUYS and GALS
I need you guys help, I am going to start loading 9MM but I don't know too much about hand gun reloading. I have a xl 750 , and i use that for my 6gt and 6.5 creedmoor. Now my question is this which dies do you guys recommend. Why I am asking this question ,it is because there are some that say roll crimp , and other say taper, and other say straight walled. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO GET. SO IF YOU GUYS AND GALS CAN SHIME IN I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks
thanks for that important info.Don't use a roll crimp for 9mm. It head spaces off the case rim. Use only a taper crimp die and just remove the flair.
The taper crimp is not used to keep the bullet in place, that is what the neck tension does.
Correction, he meant headspaces off the case mouth, hence why no roll crimp on 9mm.thanks for that important info.
Yes you are right. Thank you for the correctionCorrection, he meant headspaces off the case mouth, hence why no roll crimp on 9mm.
Did you bell the case mouth?Guys and gals ,I need you guys help. I just started loading 9mm but I get some rounds that get wrinkled from one side , any idea what I am doing wrong , and also the projectiles get like a halo at the top part . Any help is greatly appreciated
