Actually I think I'm wrong. That likely is a factory offered color. I thought they only did black but it appears they did yours for a little while too.
I took it out to the range today. Was shooting 230gr Win Ranger T. It shot just to left of the POA. Put 50 through it with not a hitch, except bruising my hand😂.

Mine also likes the Ranger T. It's the only semi auto pistol I own that has never misfired, stovepiped, FTF/FTF or had any issues whatsoever. Also shoots like a much bigger gun. The helical spring and bull barrel are amazing.

I sold a buddy of mine an old scope last year. He's been kind of tight for cash, so I told him just pay me whenever... So, one day I'm up at the gun store he manages after work just shooting the shit, and their police liaison drops off this box of random-ass used handguns for them to login, cleanup, and then sell them (Blue Label PD program). In the bottom of the box, we saw this "well used" condition 1986 S&W 4" 686 (pre-lock) .357 Mag. I immediately grabbed it, popped the cylinder, cycled the gun a few times, one quick dry-fire just to ensure the trigger was still factory and not tampered with. And then proceeded to tell him, "Don't even put it behind the glass... As soon as yall log this in, call me, I'm coming to get it."

Long story, short... Time goes by, I forget about it, and then mentioned it to him a couple months ago. He said, yeah, "I bought it...I'll let you know if I decided to sell it or not..." He knows I collect .357's and S&W wheel guns. So, in lieu of paying me cash for the scope, he decided to picked it up before it ever hit the shelf. Then sent it to S&W and had it reworked, re-timed, and the trigger slicked up by the Performance Center, and then met me at the range today, and brought it to me. I was pretty surprised to say the least. They did an "ok" job polishing it at the PC (wish they could have mirror-polished it like new), but I remember what it looked like before, it was dull, and pretty heavily beat up and scratched. She turned out really well.

I had this set of grips laying around because I ordered the wrong ones from Hogue for my Model 19, thinking it was an older 19, that had the square butt, but it was a 1995, so first year round. Lucky for me, this came along and I had a brand new set of grips sitting around collecting dust.
