So with some of the x-mas cash I got, I decided to waste some of it on this spotting scope I saw in a Harbor Freight ad in the NRA mag. It was a coupon for a 20x-60x X 60mm scope for $39.99. I figured, what the heck, its only $40, and it couldnt be any worse than the ones I rent out at the range. So I picked it up today and for such a cheap item, I was pretty impressed. I took these pics with it to show you how well it actually works in low light (nowhere near as good as high end, of course, but not bad). Only complaints are there is ZERO eye relief. You eyeball is touching the glass in order to get a good size image, and the focus sucks on it. The tripod it comes with is also junk, but I have better ones for my photography stuff that I can use. If anyone is looking for a cheap one or on a budget, I would say this is an OK route. For some reason, the website lists it as $59.99, but the in-store price was $49.99, and then it was $39.99 with the coupon.
