From everything I've read, I think I want the Forster Co-Ax press. I've also seen a lot of good about the Redding and the current group buy is making it really hard not to swing that way.

I don't have to hurry and buy now, but if there was ample argument for the Redding, then I would jump on the group buy. I'm good with waiting and spending a bit more for the Forster setup, but with my lack of experience I guess I just want to know if that's the smart thing to do?

This won't satisfy your question as you want to hear it but I've been doing this a very long time and I really don't think it makes any difference what press we use so far as the ammo goes, no press can make up for a lack of loading skill and a skilled loader can produce good stuff on virtually any press. Personal tastes and features are another question but that varies all over the place, that's why all presses have a good market share. ??

Never used the Co-Ax, but have had great results with the Redding Big Boss Press and Redding Competition Type "S" Neck Resizing Dye and Bullet Seating Dye.

Is the Co-Ax an Arbor Press?
