Harder phosphur tubes

Kinda curious, anyone here in the states running them ?
they seem to be running pretty high specs, wondering how they stack up against L3 ?

Harder makes some great tubes. I don’t know about availability here in the US, as they just don’t seem to have any footprint here. They generally outperform Photonis in most areas, but not sure how they stack up against the likes of L3 and Elbit for lack of real data.

Also, AFAIK, Harder tubes are expensive as hell. Maybe as much or more than high-spec L3 WP tubes, so penetrating the US market on a losing value proposition is a tough sell.

I’d be up for getting a couple just to compare.

Their pricing is definitely not for the faint of heart, definitely a hard sell, I am working on maybe obtaining a few, we‘ll see, 2600 fom seems intriguing,

Yeah, all FOMs are not created equal. Comparing Figures of Merit between tube manufacturers is dubious at best. I’ll take a 2200 FOM L3 WP over a 2500 FOM Elbit WP — Every. Single. Time.

Harder FOM could translate into epic performance or it could be a mediocre performer with a pretty face.

If/when you do get one, I’d love to see how it stacks up against a similarly spec’d L3 toob.
