I don't even know what he meant by race. I didn't want to belabor the point as I considered that a closed subject,, but other folks don't follow the entire thread and seem to glom onto something without context. Such as those, that for some reason, took some stuff completely out of context or couldn't understand obvious sarcasm.

Closed or not, it is not an uninteresting subject, and it is not a view confined to white people. I find it an odious view myself, but that is neither here nor there. I remember listening to aunts and uncles of mine speaking negatively about "race mixing" as a kid, and we are not white enough to qualify to mix with whites who don't like it. Likewise, it is looked down upon in black culture, Chinese culture and many others with which I am not familiar. I might suggest that none of these cultures are actually so impressive these days that they couldn't use some diverse DNA. Hell, even within "races" that outsiders see as monolithic, there are often divisions between which insiders consider it impure to mix. Again, it is all fucked up in my opinion, but it is in no way and uninteresting topic.
