Has anybody tried h100v in 243 or 243 ackley yet

I have several pounds and want to work some loads up for my new 243ai but wanted to see what the experts thought 1st

I have used 40gr with a 107 Smk in my 26" shilen barreled savage .243 . It shot very well at 100yds.

Yes I have, I did find better accuracy with others.
But that is my gun not yours. You very well may have a rifle that likes it.

Played around with it for awhile last year in my Win model 70 coyote light .243. It gave really promising results out to about 300yds and from there it fell apart. My last load was 39.6gr / 87gr Vmax / .050 jump at 3007 fps.

Thanks. I have all sorts of powder but had 3lbs if the stuff and want to give it a try.

I've tried it in both .243 and a fast twist .22-250. I never could get my ES and SD numbers down. I found other powders easier to tune than H100V; However, H100V gave some great velocity.

It's all I ran in my 243 with all brands of 105s. Now using it in my 6cm.

I use it in my 6 creedmoor low single digit sd's. Super consistent with great velocity. Trick to good sd's for me was magnum primers.

Did you have to drop you load back some when you switched primers

I don't think I changed the powder load at all if I did it was minimal. I just remember switching to cci 450s and my sd's droped and became very consistent.
