Please forgive me if this is not the place to discuss but I'm not sure where else to get any possible feed back...

Long story short, It's been 23 weeks and counting since I have sent my brand new scope in bc it was NOT tracking and I was just emailed by the head of service and repair stating that they have no idea when it will be done. I was originally told 9-10 weeks but this is ridiculous....

Anybody else going through something like this with Zeiss?

Thanks for your time,

Stiller

I bought a Demo from CameralandNY and the reticle was screwed up. Phoned Zeiss and spoke with a gal, don't have name anymore, and she said send it in and we'll just replace it with a new one. New scope arrived in 6 days, bam.

Sorry for your crappy experience with them. I wouldn't stand for this at all. I would be calling up the chain of command and getting this thing resolved asap. This is obviously unacceptable. Good luck !!

I had a similar situation a few years back. One of the turrets imploded, basically fell off, took at least 6 months if I recall. I'd have to check what paperwork I have. I do remember that it sucked waiting.
It's a Conquest 4-14x50 with target turrets and mil-dot reticle.
But, no problems since! If that makes you feel better...

FWIW, I sent a couple scopes in to them earlier this spring. One for target turrets and another to have a scratched eyepiece lens replaced, and both were turned around in about a week.

Wasn't one of the things discussed after the Shot show that EuroOptics was going to be the "go-to" for service (Zeiss/Hensoldt) or is that just for Hensoldt mil/le?

I didn't want to say but I bought it from Cameralndny along with several other scopes and a Zeiss rangefinder until then. It was NIB.... so when I spoke to Neil after I took it out and found out that it was NOT tracking even in the same universe. I was told that they wouldn't take it back bc it had been mounted. Well, how in the hell are you going to see how it tracks unless it's properly mounted and put a few rounds down range??? Maybe some of you guys are that good.... pick up a scope listen, feel the knobs, turn the knobs and just know it's on the money but I'm not that good.
BTW the lady's name at Zeiss is Karen Bookout. She is the head of service and repair. A nice lady but not much help getting my scope back to me. It is a Conquest 4.5 x 14 50 with target turrets and mil reticle.
I CAN and WILL VERIFY ALL statements made if requested.

Had an old German Zeiss freeze it's erector in the heat of Namibia. Sent it in. Sorry, parts not available to fix it. Sent me a brand new German made Zeiss scope worth twice what my old one was. Never had any other company replace a defective product with a new in shrinkwrap much higher end unit!
