Sidearms & Scatterguns Has anyone gotten tired of a long barrel in their Glock 21?

I think it just depends on how you intend to carry. For instance IWB would be miserable with extra barrel hanging down poking your ass/thigh. But OWB or chest carry you won't even notice. But typically when you get a Glock with an extended barrel it comes with the standard barrel? And or you end up with a standard barrel from swapping them. That said, you can get standard Glock barrels pretty cheap anymore so it wouldn't be a big deal to switch back. Or really you could probably find somebody who wants to swap.

my G21 with a TB is just as accurate if not more than my buddies G41 both are @ 5.31" but
the ticket is the trigger on mine is a Zev. probably the most accurate .45 I own. How much
velocity do you think you would gain by more than the normal extension?

I run a LW threaded barrel out of my G21. Since I only use the G21 as a nightstand and field gun, it's great. I've modded my holsters to accommodate.

I've noticed some pretty big FPS bumps from the extra .5", especially using Double Tap's 255 .45 SMC loads.

I gave my 21 to my dad because I just liked the 41 so much better. I’ve not ever considered getting a longer barrel in it though. Just isn’t something I feel is necessary or beneficial ??‍♂️
