Re: Having a "blast" with a 16" Bolt Gun

Hey, that looks like a Quadlock. Not too many 4 lug actions out there, RPA makes some good stuff! How about some details and how she shot? Thanks for the teaser looking forward to the FL review!

Looks nice , I was under the impression , that RPA is going bust in the UK , the company have a division thats called Steelcore designs , that use the Quadlock action and put it in chassis stock of their own design .

Can some one confirm the status of RPA , ie if they are still in business or bust/broke etc .

Later Chris

They are still in business, although I don't have any information about their going bust or not.

It is an RPA Quadlite action and trigger.

Accuracy was excellent. The short barrel doesn't hurt accuracy, but it does reduce velocity. It's not an issue for what this rifle is intended to do.

Good eye. I'm curious too.

i think its got bevelled stacked washers for the spring assembly on the firing pin if i remember correctly , ive been told by 2 gunsmiths that they would not use the action ?

not sure why , it could be price or customer service etc etc and not to do with quality?
over here they are expensive, and the tactical stock velcro stickers on to keep it in closed pos, expect a bit better at those prices
