It's a 28" Kreiger + shark suppressor, shooting 105 hybrids @3100+. He was in a land cruiser shooting out the windshield resting on a cross bar only. He took 28 other animals all with the same weapon, Including zebra, gemsbuck, kudu, 2 baboons, eland, leopard, wildebeest...it was a management hunt from hell. Tom's going back this spring to do it again.

Finally got home last night and was able to see on the computer.
That is good shooting! Their heads were constantly on the swivel. I guess their heads don't bounce while the run?

Ostrich's actually have red meat, like beef. They are very low in fat. Ostrich was popular in the 90's in some higher-end restaurants. The ones we owned were going to be the start to our "herd", but we got the on the tail end of the fad, and the value of th birds dropped markedly after we bought a couple. We only had them a short time before sending them down the road.
