Headspace check necessary when switching AI barrels?

I have a Gradous barrel I had made for my AI/AT in 6.5 Creedmoor. When I change barrel do I need to have headspace checked?

Screw it on and shoot.
AISA and AXMC with a few barrels for each and never checked.

Thanks, I was just bit nervous about this given the recommendations in the Manual.

Thats the beauty of a shouldered barrel

I would check the headspace the very first time the barrel is screwed on, just to make sure everything was machined to spec.
