Heaviest 6.5 Creed Bullets For Mag Length?

If you can get the 147 to shoot at 2.80 they’re decent. Same with the 140 eld-m.

If you plan to shoot inside of 700 yards then don’t discount the scenar 136 and 139 as well as the Berger 130. Lower BC but they are not sensitive to seating depth, kind of the equivalent of the 175 SMK.

If you just want heavy heavy for hunting and don’t care at all about BC then the Norma bonded Oryx 156gr will do fine at 2.737in

So basically, none of those bullets are too deep into that case to start screwing with shot group size then, correct? Is that what I'm gathering?

She groups pretty well with that load?
I found this in my reloading notebook. The squares are 3” wide…

Truth be told, that’s from a bolt action- a Ruger precision rifle, shot prone from a bipod and a fortune cookie, with a vortex razor gen 1 5-25. But, it was fed from a Magpul pmag. And, that ammo is money in a 6.5 creedmoor lr-308 that I built for my dad, but I don’t have any groups from it.

Federal gold medal berger (130 gr) also shoots great and fits in a pmag.

All that is to say that you shouldn’t feel constrained by loading to mag length in a large frame AR.
