Sorry if this is the wrong section. I just wanted to drop in and say hello.

New here and slowly inching my way to LR shooting. Starting out getting my current rifles in order now that I'm reloading and look forward to being apart of this forum.

Oh trust me I completely understand. I'm not new to the forum thing at all. I have started them, ran them, and been a moderator on several others. The rules are simple on any forum and the search button feature is nice when people use it. I don't know how many times I have complained about people not using that handy feature.

Lmao that's mostly true where ever you go on the web... Maybe I will when I reach those qualifications. Until then just going to hang out and do some reading. I need to do some looking around and possibly meet people around the north Texas area to shoot with and learn a few new tricks.

Yeah I don't think the rules state that... But your more than welcome to ask to change the rules.... But I didn't come here to unload a bunch of stuff. Matter of fact I can only think of one thing would even consider selling. That's pretty sad considering all the crap I have.

A few pics nothing too special at all.

Reloading bench when it was first done... now I need one that is 3 times as long. Just used some good 2x4s and some sanded plywood.

I also have a progressive on my bench in the garage for my pistols.

Tikka T3 super varmint with Nikon 6-24x50

TC custom encore 308 and 25-06 both are MGM custom barrels pre optics

Sako A7 270 and 30-06 (got both for 800.00 brand new)
270 has a Nikon 4-16x50 BDC monarch on it and the 30-06 has a 4-12x50 Nikon Buckmaster

Tikka T3 Lite 22-250 with Nikon 6-24x50 (wifes gun and is about to be sold and she is getting a 243)

New toy is a Savage 12FCV 22-250 and will be getting a Viper PST for it as my new varmint rig.

Also have a DPMS LR308 but that is at my dads house as of right now... He wanted to help me break her in so he has been shooting it.



Heres a target from the Sako 270.

This is with a starting load of H4831SC and Berger 130gr VLD set on the lands. Now its time to tighten it up and make it a little faster. This was at 100yds. Dont pay attention to the larger holes. My Dad found it funny to shoot my targets with his SKS.

heres a pic of both Danes.

The panel is a fabric the wife picked up when she got the tan suede for the bench(if you noticed that too).It is glued on with some DAP I use for hot rod interiors.

Would like a picture of the hotrod too??? LOL.

Well heres a quick pic when it came home from my father in laws place. Along with my little pavement rocket... 2002 S-10 with a 06 5.3L V8 stock engine internals all it has is a 3000 TCS 300M billet converter and full custom stainless exhaust. Runs high 12s on street tires.

Turck is an original 32 steel body. Its been chopped, channeled, and the bed has been heavily changed. Frame is fully boxed and x braced. Rear suspension is a large bearing narrowed 9in and 4 link/coil overs.

Here is what it looked like after being home for 4 hours.

Now the truck sits looking like this for the winter.

engine/half the wiring harness (still working on it)

Transmission 4L65E 2005 core that has all the goodies

anymore info just ask.

BTW it will be painted cyber grey met. same color on the ZR1 and new camaros.


I also do 99.9% of the work on my own (I'm now 27). the only thing I had to pay for was the headwork. all fabrication, wiring, and engine/transmission rebuild was done by me. It will also be tuned by me using HP Tuners Pro... as you can probably tell this is my true passion...firearms come in at a close second.
